Hebron – October 26,-2011 within the activities of the ISO9001 project to qualify Hebron Electricity Company (HEPCO) to become ISO 9001 certified, IDMC held a two-day training workshop that was attended by 31 participants representing directors, department heads, and staff. The workshop addressed the concepts of quality, the importance of quality systems, the benefits of applying these systems, as well as a detailed explanation of the terms of the specification and implementation rules of the ISO90001:2008 standard. The workshop included a number of real cases of applying the ISO90001 to company operations. Participants praised the workshop as it dealt with important issues affecting their daily work. In this workshop, IDMC guided HEPCO to begin applying ISO 9001 through the identification and definition of quality objectives and how to measure them in the areas of customer service and employee satisfaction.
